Councillors from Drass offer donation in fight against COVID-19

Kargil :

Two Councillors from Drass area have donated a total sum of ₹ 95,000 rupees to supplement the efforts of the Administration in the carrying out COVID-19 mitigation measures.

While as, Mubarak Shah Nagvi, Councillor Drass has donated an amount of ₹ 50,000 and Aga Syed Muhammad Shah, Councillor Bhimbhat has donated ₹ 45,000.
 
The Councillors have handed over the donation money to Asgar Ali, SDM Drass.  

"Out of which ₹ 85,000 will be used for purchasing essential equipment for the quarantine center established at Tourist Dak Bungalow Drass for COVID-19 prevention measures. The remaining ₹ 10,000 will be used for sanitation and cleanliness of Drass Town," SDM said. 
 
SDM expressed gratitude to both Councillors for this exemplary step for peoples’ welfare.
