Congress leaders in Leh call for a stronger party

District Congress committee, Leh convened its one-day long political convention on October 20 at Diskit- tsal community hall, Housing Colony. The meeting was attended by JKPCC Chief, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, MLA Vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Spokesperson  Farooq Andrabi, MLA, Nawang Rigzin Jora, MLA, Deldan Namgyal, MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, District Congress committee, President Tsering Samphel,  Former CEC  Rigzin  Spalbar, Councilors and other senior leaders of Leh .

The leaders pointed out the BJP government emotional card game played during the election and misleading the masses for the votes. The congress party leaders stated that they will work for the betterment and welfare of every citizen. The congress party will confront every issue and will struggle and raise voice strongly to get the things as promised by the government.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that congress party is very firm with its principle and asserted that it is the only party which represents the aspiration of the people of every region and will continue to work for the development of each and every region.

He blamed the PDP-BJP coalition Government  for the divisive political rule in the region to serve their vested interest.  He said people are disappointed with the government performance and their doubles speak.
Nawang Rigzin Jora, “Congress party outlooks for the whole nation as one despite vast diversity it believes in walking along with every citizen towards the road of development.  Being in the opposition party we will raise every issue strongly and will not let things to go easily.”

Raising a strong voice against the ruling government work and ideologies, he further added that the Congress government will surely come into power once again.

The leaders urged people to strengthen the party to bring peace, prosperity, and development in the nation.  The women leaders expressed their views and opinion on the women participation in politics and the challenges faced.
MLA Vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Spokesperson  Farooq Andrabi, MLA, Deldan Namgyal, MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Tsering Samphel, Rigzin Spalbar, Councilors and other senior leaders also spoke on the occasion.
