CEC reviews action plan under BADP scheme in Leh

Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson discussed the action plan under the centrally sponsored Border Area Development Programme (BADP) scheme with concerned officers on February 3.
 
CPO Leh apprised the Chairman about various development work being carried out in Leh district under the BADP scheme to date.

CEC Gyalson expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for allocating such schemes towards developing the border areas of Ladakh. He appreciated the efforts of officials and executing agencies of the district in achieving maximum fund utilization from the annual allocated budget. 
 
He further stressed clearing liabilities and the need for proper verification of the works during action plans to prevent project duplicates. CEC Gyalson instructed the concerned officials to form a proper verification and estimation of the projects in the BADP action plan. 

DC Leh also instructed the executing agencies to follow proper guidelines while proposing projects under BADP. He added that schemes such as Parvat Mala under BADP will be also be introduced.
