Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, visited Kargil Bhawan in New Delhi on March 19 to review the progress of ongoing works.

During the visit, the CEC conducted a detailed inspection of the site and assessed the pace and quality of construction. He held discussions with the executing agency on various issues hindering progress and pending liabilities, emphasizing the need for timely resolution of bottlenecks. Dr. Akhoon directed the concerned agency to expedite the pending works and strictly adhere to the timelines, ensuring completion within the stipulated deadline.

He further stressed that the project holds significant importance for the people of Kargil and should be completed within the coming months with utmost efficiency and quality standards.

The visit was also attended by Member of Parliament from Ladakh, Haji Mohammad Hanifa Jan, who reviewed the progress and underscored the importance of early completion of the facility for the benefit of Ladakh residents visiting the national capital.

Both dignitaries reiterated their commitment to ensuring that the Kargil Bhawan project is completed at the earliest to effectively serve its intended purpose.
