Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Mohd Jaffer Akhoon chaired a meeting with Chief Engineer Hydraulic, Councillor of Yourbaltak Constituency, Manzoor ul Hassanain, Executive Engineer Mechanical, AEEs, mechanical regarding the
operation of lift irrigation of Sodh on March 7.

Councillor, Yourbaltak, informed the CEC that the lift irrigation system in Sodh Block has been non-operational for many years.

It was decided in the meeting that a meeting will be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of the Chief Engineer Hydraulic to initiate necessary actions and address the issue with the concerned agency.The CEC directed the concerned officials to take the matter on priority.
