CEC, Hill Council, Leh, Tashi Gyalson along with DC, Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse visited Jawahar Nayodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) School, Leh and inspected the school campus including the administrative section, academic section, hostels, and common mess on September 6.

During the inspection, it was found that the current condition of the school infrastructure wasn’t up to the mark. CEC and DC Leh had a separate meeting with the school administration on the current issues of the school administration and its functioning. They also deliberated upon the required infrastructural renovations required at the school hostels and buildings. 
 
 CEC Leh directed concern Executive Engineer of Construction Division, PWD Leh to work on the completion of renovation works of toilet and washrooms, to repair solar heating panels, adequate central heating system at the hostels, and proposal for construction of passive solar washrooms for both boys and girls separately in the school. He also instructed the executing agencies to report to the office of the Chairman after proper completion of the work. 
 
DC Leh instructed the administrative officials of JNV Leh to work on proper management of the school administrative section. He directed the In-charge Vice Principal to submit timely reports to the office of the Deputy Commissioner Leh and share with them any kind of requirements of the school on time. 
 
Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Leh, In-Charge Vice-principal, JNV Leh, and other administrative officials accompanied CEC and DC Leh during the visit.
