CEC,LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, attended the Professional Development Conference for Educators organized by the Al-Kisa Foundation and Literacy International Charitable Trust at Syed Mehdi Memorial Auditorium Hall, Kargil, on June 20.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Akhoon expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, educators, scholars, and participants for their dedication to the theme “Under the Cloak of Guidance and Mercy.” He praised the conference for promoting educational excellence, nurturing moral values, and strengthening community bonds.

Highlighting the importance of such platforms, Dr. Akhoon commended the interactive sessions and collaborative spirit of the event. “Education is a sacred responsibility,” he stated, “one that shapes not only intellect but also character.”

During the event, Dr. Akhoon also visited the book exhibition and lauded the displayed curriculum, innovative teaching materials, and scholarly contributions of Professor Shabani.

Reaffirming LAHDC Kargil’s commitment to educational progress, he remarked, “Together with institutions like the Al-Kisa Foundation, we can build a compassionate and knowledge-driven ecosystem in Kargil and beyond.”

He concluded by calling educators the “true architects of the future” and urged continued collaboration to uplift students and society at large.
