Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs to get cremation ground in Kargil CEC, Hill Council, Kargil identifies 1 kanal land at upper plateau, Kurbathang

Kargil :

Chairman /CEC, Hill Council, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan identified 1 kanal land to construct cremation ground for the Buddhist, Hindu and Sikh communities at the upper plateau, Kurbathang on April 26.

CEC along with Executive Councillor for Tourism and Zanskar Affairs, Phuntsog Tashi; Deputy Commissioner/ CEO, Santosh Sukhadeve, and Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul Ghaffar Zargar visited the upper Plateau Kurbathang and identified the land near the Marathon Army Line.

Feroz Ahmed Khan asked DC, Kargil to prepare the allotment process and also direct the Chief Executive Officer, KDA to prepare an estimate for the construction of the wall, gate and two platforms.

CEC Khan also identified land for a common graveyard at Kurbathang upper plateau near Choskore road.
