ASP, Kargil reviews arrangements for Arbaeen e Hussaini

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Kargil, Iftikhar Talib Choudhary reviewed arrangements for Arbaeen of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).

Various necessary arrangements in connection with the observance of Arbaeen e Hussaini were discussed during the meeting.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Kargil, Abdul Gaffar Zargar, duty magistrates, representatives of religious organizations, police officers and officers of other concerned departments were present.

ASP directed the officers concerned to ensure all the facilities are available for the people and also asked to make sure the free passage of ambulances during the processions.

Arrangements like power and water supply, ration availability, deployment of doctors and ambulances, medical facilities, traffic management, sanitation of the places of congregations and roads from where processions will be taken on the day of Arbaeen were discussed in detail. 

ASP stressed that the timing of the processions should be strictly followed and police officers were directed to ensure the presence of volunteers for the same. He also urged the representatives of religious organizations, concerned officers and people, in general, to ensure all guidelines related to COVID-19 are followed in letter and spirit to mitigate the risk of coronavirus infection.

He further directed the concerned departments to make all arrangements in time to ensure smooth conduct of the congregations as well as processions.
