Army organises educational tour for Beema students Students will interact with President Ram Nath Kovind and Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat

A total of 20 students and two teachers from Biama were sent for an educational and motivational tour for 11 days under the aegis of Tiger Hill Brigade on August 23.  The tour was flagged off by Lt Gen PJS Pannu, General Officer Commanding, Fire & Fury Corps from Hall of fame, Leh.

The aim of the tour is to provide the students with an exposure to higher education institutes in our country, the avenues available and to make them aware of the rich heritage and cultural grandeur of our country.  

Students are scheduled to visit Chandigarh and New Delhi where they will be visiting historical sites, educational institutions and interact with important personalities in both the cities.  And also the students will be interacting with the Ram Nath Kovind, President of India and Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff.
Lt Gen PJS Pannu interacted with the students who expressed their excitement on being part of this tour and were also enthusiastic about the visits planned to various premier educational institutes and meetings with respected personalities. 

He asked the students to extract the best out of this opportunity and also motivated to work hard. He also urged them to share their experiences with their fellow classmates after the tour.

The school teachers accompanying the students were grateful to the Army for organising such tour and creating awareness amongst the children of these far flung areas.
