Army bids adieu to 3 brave hearts killed in Batalik avalanche

 Indian Army paid rich tribute to the three soldiers who were killed in the Batalik avalanche on April 10 in Leh. A wreath laying ceremony was conducted at morning 5.30 after which the body were airlifted to their native places.
 
The three soldiers were killed after multiple avalanches hit Batalik sub-sector of Ladakh on April 6. The deceased soldiers, Late Hav. Prabhu Sahay, Sepoy Kuldeep Lakra and Lance Naik Bihari Marandi belonged to the Jharkhand state.  

The mortal remains were airlifted in a service aircraft from Leh to Ranchi and Barrackpore for their last rites.
