Advocate Reyaz Ahmad Khan was sworn in as a nominated member of the 5th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, on November 17.

The oath of office was administered by Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil, Spalzes Angmo, at the Tourist Facilitation Centre, Kargil.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar; Senior Superintendent of Police, Nitin Yadav; Director Food & Sports, Tahir Hussain Zabdavi; Director Rural Development Department, Sajjad Qadri; Councilors; religious clerics from Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya Kargil; district officers; and other dignitaries.
