Administrative Secretary reviews implementation of SDP and State Sector schemes

Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department (PD&MD), Himanshu Gupta, on July 14 chaired a review meeting to assess the financial and physical progress of ongoing works under the Special Development Package (SDP) and State Sector Schemes of the Transport, Election, and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments for the first quarter of the Financial Year 2026–27.

During the meeting, Gupta reviewed the status of approved projects, expenditure incurred, and the pace of implementation. He emphasised the timely execution of works, effective utilisation of funds, and strict adherence to approved timelines to ensure the intended developmental outcomes.

The Administrative Secretary directed the concerned departments to expedite pending works, address implementation bottlenecks, and strengthen regular monitoring mechanisms to ensure quality execution. He also stressed the importance of submitting timely progress reports to facilitate effective review and monitoring.

The meeting was attended by Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, Rahul Sharma; the Regional Transport Officer; Director, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department (PD&MD); and other concerned officials.
