ADC Leh chairs meeting to review regulation and monitoring of LPG cylinders
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Mukul Beniwal, IAS on March 19 chaired a meeting at the VC Room of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, to review the regulation and monitoring of commercial and domestic LPG cylinders.
The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination among key departments and stakeholders to ensure proper distribution, safety, and effective monitoring of LPG cylinders across the district.
The ADC emphasized that distribution must be carried out in a fair, transparent, and need-based manner to ensure accountability and optimal utilization.
Ruth Mary, Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Leh, informed that kerosene is being provided to eligible beneficiaries. The ADC further directed officers to establish a control room to address digital issues such as OTP-related problems and other public concerns.
He also instructed all concerned officers to maintain close coordination for effective implementation. Stressing the importance of accountability, he called for the submission of daily progress reports and regular inspections to ensure the proper and fair use of LPG cylinders.
