2 samples test negative for Covid-19 COVID-19 Poster to stick at every household of quarantine people to minimise physical contact

Two sample reports were received from NCDC, Delhi today on March 27, and both the results are of Leh district and are negative for COVID-19.The reports include the result of the repeat sample of a passenger who had come from Delhi by Go-Air flight-217 on 21st of March. 


Rigzin Samphel, Commissioner/Secretary (Health) also said that as India goes under complete lockdown for 21 days to combat the spread of the novel Coronavirus, UT Administration of Ladakh has established a Command Centre to provide facilities such as medical and essential commodities during the lockdown policy to minimize the hassle of going out of the public for buying them. 

Rigzin Samphel informed that helpline number (01982-258960) and Whatsapp number 8803699624 will operate daily from 10 am to 5 pm can be reached for assistance or help. 

"Both the District Administrations of Leh and Kargil will provide home delivery facilities for medical and essential services in around Leh and Kargil towns during the lock-down period and contact numbers will be shared through social media. The home delivery services will also be provided at the village level in the coming days", he added.

To strengthen the quarantine policy (of about 1200 people of both Leh and Kargil districts) and also to contain the spread of Coronavirus infection in UT Administration of Ladakh has taken a new step to stick a COVID-19 Poster at every household of quarantine people to minimise physical contact with them in particular and maintain social distance in general.
