15 Councillors, Leh, allocate ₹ 28 lacs from CCDF to combat COVID-19

In its efforts to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, 15 Councillors of Hill Council, Leh on March 28 decided to allocate funds of ₹ 28 lacs out of their Councillors’s Constituency Development Fund. 

Gyal P. Wangyal, CEC; Tsering Sandup, Deputy Chairman; Phuntsog Stanzin, Executive Councillor for Agriculture; Konchok Stanzin, Executive Councillor for Education; Mumtaz Hussain, Executive Councillor for Minority and Thupstan Angchuk, Councillor Nyoma have decided to allocate ₹ 2.5 lacs each out of their CCDF.

Likewise, Tsering Nurbu, Councillor Basgo; Tsering Murup, Councillor Temisgam; Stanzin Chosphel, Councillor Martselang; Sayeda Bano, Nominated Councillor; Tsering Angchuk Councillor Diskit; Sonam Dorje, Councillor Lingshed and Gurmet Dorje, Councillor Korzok have allocated ₹ 2 Lacs each from their CCDF.

Similarly, Gen Lobzang Nyantak, Councillor Upper Leh and Sonam Chosphel, Nominated Councillor has allocated ₹1 lacs each from their CCDF.
