Training programme for Hajj pilgrims held in Kargil

KARGIL :

A one-day training programme for the Hajj pilgrim of Kargil district was organised by State Hajj Committee in collaboration with District Administration Kargil on May 11 at Conference Hall, Baroo.

A total of 74 Hajj pilgrims including 24 females and 50 males from different villages of Kargil attended the training.

The pilgrims were enlightened in detail about the rituals, necessary instructions to be observed during Hajj at Mecca.

Imtiaz Kacho, Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed his best wishes to the pilgrims for embarking on the sacred journey of life.

This training was the first phase and the second phase is scheduled to hold after Ramzan. 

The first batch of Hajj pilgrims is expected to leave for the Holy city of Makkah by July 15.
