To ensure better dissemination of information about voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Avny Lavasa, District Election Officer, Leh asked to activate the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme in the district on January 22. 

To motivate the voters with more participation through SVEEP, Avny Lavasa asked the officers for holding more and more awareness campaigns in Leh and other sub-divisional headquarters. 

Several steps towards motivation and mobilization of voters in the election process have been curved out including, skit shows, radio & TV programs, and talks. The programs of National Voter’s Day on January 25 were also finalised.

Moses Kunzang, ADC, Deputy District Election Officer, Leh, Chief Education Officer, Leh, and all other concerned officers were present.
