MIMC celebrates its annual day, pre-nursery and nursery wing inaugurated

Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) Residential School Devachan Choglamsar celebrates its Annual day on October 30.
 
The newly opened FUNdamentals Pre-nursery and Nursery wing were inaugurated by the guests in presence of MIMC founder Director venerable Bikhu Sanghasena.

Chering Dorjay, Minister for cooperative and Ladakh Affairs J&K  was the chief guest on the occasion while Hill Council Executive Councillor for Education Dorjay Mutup, CLP leader MLA Leh Nawang Rigzin Jora and SSP Leh Sargun Shukla were the guest of honour on the occasion.

Chering Dorjay said that running a residential school is a big challenge to any organisation but MIMC successfully runs the residential school to impart modern, spiritual and moral education to many deserving students hailing from far-flung areas of Ladakh which is true compassion in action.
 
He also appreciated the customs of MIMC alumni coming back to MIMC to propagate humanitarian activities and added that Annual day is the occasion to showcase the school one-year achievements.
 
He also advises EC Education to invite government school students to MIMC campus to see innovative teaching method such robotics and Fundamental education so that government school can adopt such method.
 
Minister also applauded MIMC for conducting the Mahakaruna events in 8 mega-cities to spread the message of love and compassion.

Terming Sanghasena and SECMOL Wangchuk as Gems of Ladakh Jora added that both of them have dedicated their service to the Ladakhi society benefiting thousands of deserving children their works must be appreciated.

Dorjay Motup, EC Education expressed his concern over parent reluctance to send their kids to the government school and he also appeals MIMC to share their expertise to uplift the government school standards.
 
Venerable Sanghasena in his speech appeals the all stakeholder's support and contribution to remove illiteracy in Ladakh to make Ladakh a role model society. 
 
Sanghasena asserted the need to focus on the real meaning of education which is not only acquiring bookish knowledge and getting degrees but to develop love, compassion, and generosity to sever others.
 
Similarly, many speakers such as SSP Sargun Shukla, School Principal Tsewang Dolma, Fundamental Education volunteer Stanley Johnson from the USA, Golden Mines training coordinator Rinchen, Master Swadeep Kamble from Vidya Mandir School Nagpur and Head Girl Thinley Dolkar also spoke on the occasion.
 
Culture programme including devotional songs, rhymes by tiny-tots were presented during the occasion. Later, chief Guest distributed prizes and certificates to meritorious students.
