LSA marks 23 years of reunification

Ladakh Student Association, Chandigarh celebrates 23 years of accomplishment at IL- Forno Hotel on 13 June by inviting all the Former senior Presidents and members who formed LSA way back in 1992.  The event was congregated by Ex- President and Senior Ladakh student Association of Chandigarh.

President Stobgyal informed that LSA was formed in the year 1992 with 13 members, CP Dorjey being the first President. Tsering Namgyal was the second president and the man behind the logo of LSA in the year 1993-04. Tundup Dorjey is the 3rd President and responsible for registration of LSA & forming the constitution in the year 1996.
 
The main objective of this event was to celebrate the completion of 23 years achievement and to interact and share experiences of all the Ex- President of LSA, Chandigarh.  

C.P Dorjey said that LSA Chandigarh was first established under his Presidentship and by Ladakhi students studying in Chandigarh in 1992. He also said that the need to establish such an institution was to provide the family care, parental guidance and means of socialization for students studying outside Ladakh who were very far from their motherland.
 
A discussion was held among the Ex- Presidents of past twenty-three years and other newly members of LSA Chandigarh 2014-15. It was based on the achievements of the LSA Chandigarh in the last 23 years; problems faced by the students in the newly cosmopolitan society. 

Former senior Presidents suggested about future career prospects and what improvements should we bring in the coming time. 

Other members present on the occasion were Tsering Namgyal, Tundup Dorjey, Dorjey Wangchuk, Rinchen Namgyal and Urgain Nurboo.
