Archery competition was held by police under its Civic Action Programme at Khree Sultan Choo Stadium Kargil for the first time wherein 77 teams participated. Executive Councilor, Sheikh Mohd Reyesee was the Chief guest and Assistant Superintendent of police Mohd Yonus Bhat was the Guest of honor.

Archery is a traditional game of kargil district mostly played in the month of February to April. Elders as well as kids participate in the game with great enthusiasm.
