Stanzin Nurboo Kopay meets Kiren Rijiju for education development of Changthang

For the construction of the hostel for students of the nomadic border of Indo-China village, Education and cultural welfare society of Lalok (ECSOL) President, Stanzin Nurboo Kopay met Ministry of Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju on February 28 at New Delhi.

Stanzin Nurboo Kopay gave a presentation on the status of education and higher studies in Changthang region. 

He said that the student of Changthang faces problem regarding higher studies due to lack of basic facilities in Leh.  To facilitate the students of the far-flung regions while pursuing higher studies in Leh, the association is going to construct free hostel facility for them.

He submitted a DPR worth ₹ 3.53 crore for the construction of the hostel for which the minister accepted and gave a positive response to the completion of the proposed project.
