Under the village health and sanitation program, Health Department Tangtse organized a cleanliness program for two days in Shachukul village on March 23. 19 Madras, Tangtse provided vehicles for garbage collection.

Tsering Nordan, Deputy Mass Media officer, Primary Health Centre, Tangtse said that in order to keep the environment clean, we should carry out cleanliness drive in our daily walk of life.

The villagers unanimously decided to make Shachukul village a “Plastic-free village”.
