A young college girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her own residence on May 2 at Ibex Colony, Leh. 

 

Housing Colony Police Station in-charge, SI Tashi Gyaltson said, “We have received the information around 6 AM and rushed to the spot where we found her hanging in a room.  No suicidal note nothing has been recovered. The body has been shifted to the SNM hospital for the post mortem and the investigation is going on.”

The girl was a final year student of Eliezer Joldan Memorial College and was also working with a travel agency.

The post-mortem report of the deceased is still awaited and the investigation is in the process.
