Dr.Namgyal Gangjor, a former Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh joined Indian National Congress, Leh on 30 July. A function was organised by District Committee, Leh to welcome him on board.

Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Govt of J&K said in his introduction to Dr Namgyal that:"He was a dynamic, recognized, a knowledgeable person of Ladakh and a rational person with efficient track records of his services.”

Tsering Samphel, President, District Congress Committe, Leh also welcomed him to the team with the hope that his service will prove great contribution to uplift of the interest of Ladakh through Indian National Congress.
