LEH :
Marking the holy Ramadan month District Police Leh hosted an Iftar party on June 27 at Police Line Leh.  The party was attended by all the heads of community and social organization, prominent leaders, heads of the civil administration and military and paramilitary forces of Leh.

Iftar is a meal served at the end of the day during Ramadan to break the day's fast and served at sunset. Muslims traditionally first break the fast with dates and either water or a yogurt drink. After maghrib prayer (prayer after sunset), they then have a full-course meal, consisting of soup, salad, appetizers and main dishes.
