Training cum demonstration on the use of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VV Pat) was organised by District Election Authority on February 13 in Leh.

Trainers explained about how voters can verify their votes in seven seconds on the machine’s screen thus, minimizing hacking or hampering of EVMs. The demonstration was also carried out in Nubra Diskit and Khaltse.
