Tsering Murup, Diesel Technician retired from AIR Kargil

Tsering Murup, Diesel Technician of All India Radio Kargil retired on 31st May 2014 after 40 years of honest and sincere service to AIR Kargil. All the staff of All India Radio Kargil, and associate stations gave him a warm send off at AIR Colony.

The AD (E) AIR Kargil Ramesh Kumar Soni on this occasion appreciated the contribution of Tsering Murup and hoped that other employees will also follow his steps and provide honest service. He wished the retiree a happy future and hoped that Morup will always help AIR whenever needed.

Nisar Naseem Programme Head AIR Kargil said that such senior and experienced person is always a benefit for the society and said that Morup must use his experience in the development of the society.

While giving a briefing of his job tenure Tsering Murup said that he has joined AIR Family in the year 1974 as a helper at Radio Kashmir Leh and during his service he got promoted to Desiel Engine Driver in 1980 and later to Diesel Technician in the year 1992 and was transferred to Radio Kashmir Srinagar. He futhrer added that in the year 1999, he was again transferred from Radio Kashmir Srinagar to AIR Leh and later in the year 2004 he was transferred to All India Radio Kargil in his hometown.

He thanked all his colleagues and subordinates for the continuous support during his tenure and told that without their help it was not possible.

Other who spoke on this occasion was, Akhone Javed, Mohammad Hassan Askari and Noor Mohammad.

Later everybody accompanied him to his home village Wakha, 45 Km from the Station.
