In a bid to empower local youth, the District Administration Kargil, in collaboration with Ladakh Police, the University of Ladakh, and Government Polytechnic College Kargil, organised district-wide counselling sessions on August 9 for candidates appearing in the upcoming LAHDC KSSRB recruitment examinatio

The sessions, held at the University of Ladakh Kargil Campus Khumbathang, Government Degree College Drass, and Government Polytechnic College Kargil, saw an impressive turnout of around 500 aspirants eager to refine their preparation strategies.

At the UoL Kargil Campus, Superintendent of Police, Kacho Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khan  and Assistant Information Officer Dr. Anwar Ali, along with Dr. Mehboob Ali, Incharge Administration, offered motivational insights and practical guidance.

In Drass, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jahangeer Akhone (JKAS), DySP DAR Tundup Dorjay, and Revenue Department official Mehboob Ilahi  shared proven tips for success. Meanwhile, at Government Polytechnic College Kargil, Assistant Director Information Raza Ali Abidi, SHO Kargil Kacho Sadat, and DySP UTDRF Kargil Asif Mustafa delivered engaging and inspirational talks.

Covering topics from strategic exam preparation to the use of modern learning tools, the sessions concluded with interactive Q\&A segments, giving aspirants the chance to directly connect with experts.

The District Administration reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Kargil’s youth, pledging to continue initiatives that build confidence and help them excel in competitive examinations and future careers.
