Five delegations comprising political, religious and social representatives and stakeholders across Ladakh have visited different Union Territories (Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands)  and tribal states ( Meghalaya, Sikkim and Assam) to study the mechanism that has worked (or not) in safeguarding tribal culture, their land and their environment. The exposure tour was organised by Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh.
