Nyoma sub-division celebrates 77th Republic Day

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour across Nyoma Sub-Division, with the main function held at Government Middle School, Nyoma.

On the occasion, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nyoma, Shri Kacho Asgar Ali, hoisted the National Flag and delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Constitution of India. He also inspected the march-past contingents, accompanied by SHO Nyoma.

A total of five march-past contingents participated in the parade, representing Government Middle School, Nyoma; Government Middle School, Mudh; Higher Secondary School, Nyoma; Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Nyoma; and Ladakh Police.

The celebrations were further enriched by vibrant cultural performances presented by villagers from Mudh, Nyoma, Nidhar, and Teyar, along with students from KGBV Nyoma, Higher Secondary School Nyoma, Government Middle School Mudh, and Government Middle School Nyoma.

During the function, outstanding employees from various departments of Nyoma Sub-Division were felicitated with awards in recognition of their dedicated service.

• 3rd Place: KGBV Nyoma

Consolation prizes were also awarded in both categories. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners of the march-past and cultural competitions.
