Five-day Bhoti training programme concludes at DIET Leh

During the five-day Bhoti training programme conclusion.

A five-day Bhoti training programme on newly framed Bhoti textbooks for foundational and primary classes concluded on December 31 at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh.

The programme was organised to orient teachers on Bhoti textbooks developed for Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Classes I and II, in accordance with the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2023. Head of the Institute Tsering Yangdol informed that the textbooks are also available on the DIKSHA portal as energised Bhoti textbooks of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Principal Mirza Mehdi expressed gratitude to the resource persons—Ven Stanzin Norbu, Dr Lotos Rabgais, and Tundup Namgail—for their valuable contributions. He assured continued institutional support for Bhoti textbook development and future training programmes.

The training programme was attended by 91 teachers from Nubra, Durbuk, and Noma zones, with the objective of strengthening mother tongue–based education in Government schools of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
