352 candidates appear for Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency Tests in Leh
The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development (LAHD–SSRB), in coordination with the District Administration, Leh, successfully conducted the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) on January 7 for the posts of Deputy Forester and Wildlife Guard at Fortune Resort, Spituk–Farka–Zinchen Road, Leh.
A total of 352 candidates participated in the PST/PET. Elaborate arrangements were made to ensure the smooth, fair, and transparent conduct of the tests. The PET route covered a distance of 25 kilometres in four hours, and all required PST/PET measurement instruments and facilities were arranged at the venue.
Officials from the Office of the Wildlife Warden, Leh, and the Divisional Forest Officer, Leh, were deployed for the authentication and verification of candidates. In addition, 10 Physical Education Teachers/Masters from DYSSO Leh assisted in conducting the physical tests as per prescribed norms.
Adequate medical arrangements were made at the venue, including the deployment of medical staff and ambulance services, to address any emergency situations.
