4th Junior National Ice Hockey Championship kick starts in Leh

Under-20 boys National Junior Ice Hockey Championship started on January 29 at the newly constructed Ice Hockey rink of Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre.  

Teams from various states and army are participating in it.

The championship is being conducted under the aegis of Ice Hockey Association of India (IHAI). While the venue and logistic supports are provided by Ladakh Scouts, Regimental Centre.

Col SK Sharma, Commandant, Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre declared the Championship open in presence of Harjinder Singh, General Secretary IHAI and Phunchok Angchuk, General Secretary Ladakh Winter Games Federation, Leh. 

The championship will provide a platform to the young players, particularly from Ladakh, to showcase their talent paving way for the potential players to represent country in the future.
